This
is a Documentary that shows us the meteoric rise and
fall of Sid Vicious, the first martyr of British Punk,
the self-destructive character embodying the decadent
and sordid aspect of Punk. In Sid! the story is told
by characters who really knew him (as the subtitle clarifies),
people as Jah Wobble (ex P.I.L bassist), Steve Severin
(Bassist from Siouxsie & The Banshees), Dave Vanian
(singer of The Damned), Malcolm McLaren (Manager of
the Sex Pistols), Glen Matlock (Original bassist of
the Sex Pistols, who replaced Sid) and a host of celebrities
from the first wave punk.
Filled with archival footage (much of it unpublished),
the film becomes the definitive work on this peculiar
