80s is without a doubt the most important musical decade
of the 20th century. Never before had so many cultural
phenomenons and musical styles co-existed. At the same
time, this was the epoque when the disco culture began
to use 12¨, those 45 RPM vinyls that contained special
´extended´ versions made to satisfy the yuppie culture
that infiltrated both the European and American club
scene. A new art form was born, the ´maxi version´ created
especially for really great songs you just don´t want
to end.
This album is the result of a long and arduous struggle
to reunite a number of those first remixes together
on one disc. It is a retrospective of the best of the
80s, true hymns, some of which have even gone out of
